INTERRAILING

At the beginning of Summer, around June time, my boyfriend and I went interrailing throughout Europe. We did 22 days in total and our route was Budapest, Zagreb, Hvar, Split, Lujiblana, Lake Bled, Vienna, Prague and then finally Amsterdam. Safe to say it was absolutely jam packed, I felt as though I needed another holiday to recover (that didn't happen.)

The whole journey was amazing. Prior to going I was slowly getting nervous about the amount of trains I would be on. Would we get lost? Wrong one? Wrong country? Allsorts. Reflecting upon it we were absolutely fine and I would recommend it to anyone.

If any of you are planning to interrail one piece of advice would be to pack light, I reckon I had the same amount of clothes for 3 weeks as other travellers did for 3 months. Never been one for packing light. Thank god I had a male to carry my bag...occasionally.

My favourite destination was undoubtibly Hvar, Croatia. After an overnight train from Zagreb to Split, then a ferry from Split to Hvar it was so so so worth it. We hired a moped for a day and discovered some incredible beaches, I have never seen water as blue as in Croatia! It really is a must see.  Lake Bled in Slovenia was also a firm favourite, although rowing a boat was not my forte.. the views certainly made up for it! I enjoyed all of our trip and wouldn't have a bad word to say about any city/country. Ok, maybe Prague was a little touristy. But thats it.

Heres some pictures of my favourite places.
