Well done to my History huns x
Well,
that's it, I'm no longer an undergraduate but a mature responsible postgrad!!!
I
never thought Graduation would be as fun as it was, but honestly, if you've
still got it to come you will have the most amazing day, full of laughter,
maybe the odd tear and a shed load of prosecco. Perfect.
All
I can say is make sure you take a tonne of pictures, chuck your cap in the air
and make the most of the day/evening!
As
I went to University in Newcastle I headed to the Botanist for a couple of
cocktails after. With it being such a glorious day we did the natural thing and
wandered down to the Quayside to enjoy the ambience of.......Pitcher and Piano
of course! Our meal was at Cafe 21 and was absolutely excellent; I'd recommend
to anyone, I had the duck, yum!
Also,
the dress. I received an email saying "academic, formal attire" was
the dress code. Naturally I declined. 9 grand a year I was going to wear
whatever I fancied! I went for an extremely detailed embellished and hand stiched
dress that matched my robe perfectly. However, it's now in the sale sob. Heres
the link.
